Toofan’s funeral announced
Toofan‘s funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 10 at 2pm at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Southern California. As per the late artist’s wish, the attendants are asked to wear white only at the funeral. The event is open to public and many in the Iranian music community are expected to attend.

Toofan, a name immortalized in Iranians’ minds with his signature work “Khodaye Asemoonha,” passed away after a long battle with cancer on June 5, 2012 at the age of 66.
