Persepolis wins Tehran Derby defeating Esteghlal
The 74th derby of Tehran had a dramatic turn with a Persepolis victory over Esteghlal during the last 10 minutes of the game.
Esteghlal had the winning edge earlier in the game with Milad Meydavoudi (32′) and Ferydoon Zandi (42) putting the blue team ahead. But an effective substituation from Persepolis coach Mustafa Denizli changed the game dramatically. Eamon Zayed scored a hattrick for Perspolis in the last ten minutes of the game (81′, 83′ and 91′) to bring Persepolis an unforgettable 3-2 victory for its fans.
