You know Steve Jobs was really popular in Iran when you see Iranian artists pay tribute to him in pop concerts. During the second week of a concert series for cancer patients at Borje Milad in Tehran, Benyamin dressed in Jobs’ signature outfit – black turtleneck and levis, in honor of Apple’s late co-founder.

Steve Jobs passed away 10 days ago after years of fighting pancreatic cancer.

The concert series are dedicated in part to actor Majid Bahrami who is battling cancer. The proceeds from the concerts will go to his treatment and that of other cancer patients.

Another surprise of the night was when Benyamin introduced Mohsen Yeganeh. It was rumored that the two artist were not on speaking terms after some previous confrontations. They, however, appeared friendly and together sang the classic song “Elahe Naz” and Mohsen Yeganeh’s own hit, “Sokoot.”

The concerts are ongoing with other artists including Reza Sadeghi.
